Chris Whippy runs Cigs & Magz in the recurring Thacker material, closing the shutters after a full day of cigarettes, magazines and informal local intelligence. He is also part of the memorial-ground ensemble with Slinky Josh. Later drafts agree that he is lost in the park sequence, although nothing else about the sequence remains stable.
