Sue, also recorded as Su and once as Sue Leather, moves through Whapperton's live-music and late-night material with a combination of casual familiarity and poor timing. The newly catalogued Jedson Leather track Air Lizard gives her the clearest musical credit: guest vocal. Older archive entries place her at Hats, Strides, Masks, Sewers and Vegetables, where she is occasionally invoked as the person most likely to calm a difficult room.
